Pizza Party Recap

The show was AMAZING!!! We sold over 50 tickets (and I feel like people might’ve snuck into the venue lowkey), so the room was FULL!!! Unfortunately this is the only photo I have from the event:

Hahahahaha our professional photos will come in later… We also had a videographer at the show so we can post clips of some performances on our instagram when that comes in.

How did the 6th Pizza Party show go in my opinion you ask? Great question, I love your curiosity.

Running it felt like clockwork. After 6 shows, Sage and I have gotten a system down that’s predictable and reliable. We show up an hour ahead, set up lights, projector, audio, and then we go grab pizza. By the time we came back from our pizza run, we were surprised to see people already in their seats… it wasn’t even 7:00 yet.

All of the performers were great. I was more excited to hear their sets than I was nervous about the event. I give Sage a ton of credit for choosing such hilarious comedians. I hadn’t heard any of their sets prior to Pizza Party and all of them killed. That guy has good taste.

The comic artists also killed it! Alex and Kelly were definitely some crowd favorites. I was geeked the whole time.

I was actually quite nervous for my set because I included a stunt at the end of it that required me to expose the entire front of my body, nipples and belly button included. The face of the torso as some say. It went well though, if maybe a little awkward.

Every person involved in the show was on top of their game on Saturday night and it was so much fun because of it! We haven’t booked the next few dates yet but THERE WILL BE MORE! And you’ll be the first to hear about it.

I shared this with ya’ll in a previous newsletter without the final panel. Now that the show is over, here it is! Obviously, lots of the confusion in my adolescence was thanks to vague ass answers to my awkward questions.

It might be fun to read these in your mind, but it’s also fun to watch me read these live in person! I had a whole soundboard with sound effects and music and everything. Come through next show and you’ll see ;)
